Amber

Amber Young-Rice is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with over 25 years of experience in social services. Born with a strong desire to help others, Amber has spent her career providing support and guidance to individuals, families, and communities in need.


Amber grew up in the small town of Elwood, Indiana, where she developed a strong sense of empathy and understanding for others. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Purdue University in West Lafayette, graduating in 1998 with a degree in Law and Society.


After completing her undergraduate degree, Amber began her career in social services, working with various organizations and agencies to provide support to vulnerable populations. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue her graduate degree at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she earned her Master's in Social Work (MSW) in 2015.


In 2015, Amber was awarded the prestigious Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Fellowship at IUPUI. This fellowship allowed her to work with disadvantaged youth, providing her with valuable experience and insight into the unique challenges faced by this population.


Amber's commitment to social justice and human rights led her to spend a month working in Mumbai, India, after graduation in 2015. During this time, she worked with sex trafficking victims, providing them with emotional support and advocacy.


Amber specializes in trauma services, grief issues, depression, anxiety, and other quality of life concerns. Her extensive experience and training have equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide effective and compassionate support to individuals struggling with these issues.


Amber is known for her warm and empathetic demeanor, which puts even the most vulnerable individuals at ease. Her passion for social justice and human rights is evident in her work, and she is deeply committed to advocating for the rights and dignity of all individuals.
